Hi, I’m Philip—a mentor, wellness coach, and advocate for your personal
success. I’m here to help you thrive in your life journey by offering encouragement,
support, and thoughtful guidance.

My passion lies in seeing others overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Over the
course of my life, education, and career, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with people
from all walks of life—from age 1 to 99. Our unique backgrounds, life experiences, and
cultures make humanity beautifully diverse. And yet, beneath those differences, we
share common hopes, struggles, and the desire to grow.

As a mentor and coach, I want to hear your story—your ambitions, goals, and the
obstacles you face. My role is to walk beside you as a sounding board, motivator, and
steady source of encouragement.

I deeply believe in the long-term fulfillment that comes from achieving goals one step at
a time. Growth is fueled by connection—whether through collaboration, learning from
others, or simply gaining perspective. A balanced outlook creates space for a calm,
centered mind.

Growth rarely comes from perfection—it’s often found in the willingness to try. Whether
through movement or quiet reflection, taking that first step can ease stress, build
confidence, and foster the resilience needed to face what’s next.
In my free time, I enjoy backpacking, snowboarding, baseball, football, soccer, tennis,
swimming, and canoeing. These activities aren’t just hobbies—they’ve become a
meaningful way for me to recharge, stay grounded, and reconnect with the outdoors.I am currently in my last semester of the Associate Degree Program in Substance Abuse DisorderCounseling (SUDC). I have completed one semester of SUDC internship at the St. Croix Correctional
Facility.

In Fall 2021 I will be completing my final internship at Lutheran Social Services in Eau Claire, WI,working there three days per week.

My experiences working with youth include Youth and Adult Sunday School Education, Youth Softball Coaching, and Youth Basketball Coaching.

Further experiences include serving in the United States Army for four years, some of which included overseas assignments. Through my military service, college, and life in general, I have learned to adapt
to many situation, including values, cultures, and ethnic beliefs and practices.

Strengths, as identified from my professors and peers include engaging, reflective, counseling skills, quality, working well with others of all ages, adaptability to situations, empathy, and impressive patience.

I will use these strengths to positively impact the lives of those I connect with. I am motivated by my desire to be effective in my work with people because I care about them and how I perform.

In my free time, I enjoy anything to do with the outdoors. I fish, hunt, garden, and walk in the woods searching for wild ginseng. I also enjoy spending time with my family which includes my wife, teenage
daughter and our beagle, Buddy.
